The Health Information Management Practice Test is designed for graduates of any health information management program who wish to prepare to challenge a comprehensive HIM exam. It may be particularly helpful for those with “test anxiety” or those who want to evaluate or assess their current knowledge.
The Practice Test consists of seven modules:
- Biomedical Sciences
- Health Information Science
- Ethics and Practice
- Health Care Analysis and Presentation
- Technology and Health Information
- Access and Security
- The Health Care System in Canada
The HIM Practice Test is a self directed and self-marking online test which offers over 700 multiple choice, true/false and mix/match questions. The questions in the test represent the seven current disciplines of the HIM study program. A large assortment of these questions provides an extensive review of these disciplines.
